Can I Install A Derale Transmission Cooler On a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse With A Factory Tow Package?

Should I be concerned about too much cooling in the winter with this trans cooler? I live in southern Michigan and it can get pretty cold in the winter.

Yes, it is okay to add a Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503 onto your 2017 Chevrolet Traverse with the factory tow package. You will want to place this in front of the radiator to achieve the best cooling for your transmission.

No, the cold winters will not be a concern for the transmission getting to cold. Since the transmission fluid is still going to be running through radiator that will ensure that the transmission fluid does not get too cold.
