Question:
My 20 ft utility trailer has an LED light that is always on at night. Not hooked to a vehicle or other power source. Should I be concerned?

Though it is possible that you have inadvertently discovery an unlimited power source, I suspect it is actually drawing power from something. Especially if you have a break away system, like the Hopkins Engager # 20400. If you do have something like this, odds are the ground source for the light has gone bad and will need to be checked. I would also make sure the ground for your lights are not stacked onto the grounds of your brakes.
It is either that, or the light actually has a battery back-up built it and when the trailer is plugged in, it is recharging the battery.
