Expert Reply:
The Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K77 # TH02230K77 will be the tire chains we recommend for your 2019 BMW X7 with 285/45R21 tires. These are Class S tire chains which means they are designed for vehicles that have limited space in the wheel well.
Typically we say to put the chains on the drive wheels, but all wheel drive vehicles can make that a little difficult and your owner's manual should be consulted for this as there should be a section about using chains. With that being said, the main power wheels are usually the rear wheels and this is where we recommend installing them. However, you can also run chains on all four wheel for even better traction if needed.
