Why Can't You Reverse with the Curt MV Weight Distribution System

Question:

The Curt 10k lbs rated round tube WD system with sway control states the it is not rated for backing up. Is this correct? How is this possible? At some point you will need to back up and maneuver. Are their limitations? What would suggested?

You can reverse with the Curt MV Weight Distribution System part # C17062 but it's recommend that you unhook the spring bars so you don't put the system into a bind. This is pretty standard practice for pretty much any weight distribution system. It's pretty easy to unhook the spring bars but you shouldn't really be doing this all too often anyhow.
