Can Old Kuat NV Bike Rack be Updated to Use Foot Lever

I have a Kuat the NV discontinued rack where the Ball Cam Lower End has a lever that you pull to the side similar to a quick release lever on a bicycle. Can I purchase the newer NV 2.0 Ball Cam Lower End and replace it so I can lower/tilt the rack with my foot? Do the bolt holes line up correctly/share compatibility?

The ball cams for the older NV and the NV 2.0 are not interchangeable, so there isn't a way to utilize the ball cam for the 2.0 in your older NV. So if you wanted to utilize the very handy foot lever feature you would need a different bike rack. Each of the Kuat options do have the foot lever so you can go with any of the following:
- Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Metallic Black # NV22B or Gunmetal Gray # NV22G
- Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Pearl # SH22P, Black # SH22B, or Gray # SH22G
- Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # KU84FR
