Will Clamps From Thule AirScreen XT TH82WV Fit Thule Fairing 871XT For AeroBlade Crossbars

Question:

Thule 871xt windscreen. We have an older model windscreen that works with Aero Rapid bars or square bars. Unfortunately, we have AeroBlade bars. It looks like the bar clamp on the newer models might work to substitute for our clamps. Do you think this would work, and if so, can we get them from etrailer.com ?

I took a look at the instructions and parts for both, and there isn't a way to use your older Thule 871XT wind fairing from what I can see, as the clamps install much differently on the AirScreen XT. So while I know it isn't exactly what you were wanting to hear, the only option to get a fairing that fits the AeroBlade crossbars is to replace it with a new AirScreen XT.

Since your old fairing is 44 inches, the same length of AirScreen that will fit your AeroBlade crossbars is the following:

- AirScreen XT for Thule Crossbars - 44" Long # TH82WV
