Can I Use 2 Thule Hullavators with the Yakima JetStream Crossbar System on My 2021 Grand Cherokee?

Question:

Would I be able to use the Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425 with 2 kayaks and 2 Hullavators? If two Hullavator wont work with 2 kayaks do you have an alternate recommendation for an easy to load kayak carrier and roof rack?

As far as using the Yakima JetStream # Y00425 setup with 2 Thule Hullavators # TH898, you will most likely be over the weight limit of the crossbar system. Since 2 Hullavators would be 79.4 pounds, if your kayaks weigh around 50 pounds, that total weight would be 179.4 pounds total. With these weight restrictions, you unfortunately will not be able to use 2 Hullavators on your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.

As a great solution, I recommend the Malone DownLoader Kayak Carrier and TelosXL Load Assist w/ Tie-Downs # MPG114MD-351XL with an additional Malone DownLoader Kayak Carrier # MPG114MD and the T-slot hardware kit # MPG8287 to fit into the top channels of the JetStream. The carriers only weigh 12.2 pounds, and have a maximum kayak carrying capacity of 75 pounds. Also, all of these purchases will come with a total of 4 load straps and 4 bow/stern ties to secure your kayaks to your JetSream crossbars.
