I have a solution for you to use a Yakima Ridgeback like the # Y02459 on a 2-1/2" receiver, but there is not an actual adapter for the shank. Instead, you'll need to use a hitch reducer like the Blue Ox Hitch Reducer Sleeve - 2-1/2" to 2" Trailer Hitch # BX88187 to reduce your 2-1/2" receiver down to a 2" receiver. This will allow you to carry the Ridgeback on your vehicle with the 2-1/2" receiver.
