Question:

Draw tite shows this fitting a 2021 Tiguan, however your site does not. The 2021 does not have the welded frame bolts, bit the install instructions for this say it includes a fastener kit to work around. Can you confirm this will fit a 2021 and will include the fastener kit.

Draw-Tite states that their 76551 hitch which we sell as # DT53GR fits the 2021 Tiguan, whether or not the vehicle is equipped with the nuts welded up into the frame to accept the installation hardware. The hitch includes hardware for vehicles that don't have the weld nuts in the frame, so whether your Tiguan has the fasteners welded into the frame or not, this hitch would be compatible.

We have just updated our fit information, which added the # 76192 as a fit for the 2021 VW Tiguan after confirming that all of our on-hand stock does indeed include the necessary hardware for vehicles that don't have the hardware welded into the frame members.

If you'll be towing with the htich, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like part # 118811, a ball mount like part # 2753 and a trailer ball like part # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or a # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
