No Power To Trailer Brake Controller on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500
Updated 09/20/2021 | Published 09/18/2021 >
Question:
I bought a Tekolnsha Primus IQ 90160 for my 2010 GMC Sierra....installed it correctly and no power to the unit. Took it to a auto repair shop and they worked for over 3 hours but still no power...it works because I swapped the unit with the one in my 2016 Canyon and it works fine. Any help would be great before i spend more money trying to get it working. Thanks

In order to apply power to a trailer brake controller on a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 you do have to make one connection under the hood of the vehicle. This connection entails attaching the power wire from the brake controller port to the fuse box. This entire process can be found outlined in the help article attached below.
