Question:
What is the best setting for my 08 f150 5 4l 3v 4x4 with my edge15051 to gain hp and torque without throwing a ton of codes and hurting my motor

The Edge Evolution Programmer like your 15051 only has 4 settings and one of them is the stock program. You can also run Transmission only, Tow Performance or High Performance; it sounds like you'll want to use the High Performance setting in this case. This is the highest setting for the Evolution and it aggressively tunes the fuel injection and ignition timing strategies to extract the maximum performance from the vehicle without sacrificing driveability or durability. This program takes advantage of the increased engine performance by providing quicker, firmer shifts and provides the largest boost to HP and torque.
