The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98853 and Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76112 are very similar in design and weight capacity. They both have a maximum maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500lbs and maximum tongue weight of 525lbs. Both hitches are bolt-on installations and have a black powder coat finish for superior rust protection.
The one key difference is that the # e98853 is not rated for use with a weight distribution system while the # 76112 is. Weight distribution hitches help control swaying and provide a better overall ride stability.
If you also require trailer hitch wiring I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118648 for models excluding the SE. It is a simple plug-and-play installation to send power from your vehicle to your trailer's signal lights. If you have the SE model then # 118498 instead.
