Hardware Size to Install the Yakima BlockHead Single Bike Truck Bed Mounted Rack

Question:
2013 Toyota Tacoma Does this bike rack come with the necessary hardware to mount to Tacoma truck bed rails? The installation instructions only show a template for bolting to the truck bed.

The hardware for the Yakima BlockHead bike rack, # Y01117, is not included. Basically you can use any hardware that will fit and that is appropriate for the surface you wish to mount the rack on. I recommend a fastener that requires an uncommon tool to help deter theft. The instructions mention using 1/4 inch (6mm) bolts or screws, washers, and locking nuts. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
