Question:
Hello!! I have a 2009 Jeep JK Unlimited that is pretty much custom built for off-roading. I will be using the Blue Ox bumper adapters to connect to my front bumper. My question is what is the recommended tow bar? Ill be towing her behind my RV, and we will be frequently camping on rough terrain. Also, as the Jeep is lifted, Im not sure as to the levelness of the bar when connected to the RV. It may have an upwards slope to the Jeep from the hitch. I have not checked this out yet, but Im pretty sure it wont be level. Id like to ensure a safe tow, and would rather err on the side of caution. Also, what wiring would I need to utilize the Jeeps brake lights, running lights, etc? Thank you!!!

I would be happy to help!
Since you will be installing the Blue Ox Aftermarket Off-Road Bumper Adapter for 7/8" pins # BX88357 on your 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I recommend going with the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380.
This tow bar has a 6500lb weight rating which is more than enough for your Jeep, and its non-binding design allows you to quickly and easily unhook the tow bar even on uneven terrain making it perfect for camping on rough terrain.
Keep in mind not all bumpers are rated for flat towing, so you will need to check the the manufacturer of your front bumper to make sure it will hold up to this type of use.
Since these adapters do not have a provision for safety cables you will need to wrap the safety cables around the frame of your Jeep so I recommend adding the 3' extensions # BX88208 which the safety cables included with the tow bar can attach to.
For wiring I recommend going with the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will add a 6-way connector to the front of your Jeep and the included 6-way to 7-way cord will plug into the 7-way connector on your tow vehicle to power the lights. The included diodes protect your factory wiring from any possible damage from back feeding.
Since you mentioned your Jeep is lifted you will need a high-low adapter to get the tow bar within 3" of level so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.
You did not mention it but a supplemental braking system is required in quite a few states, and is a good idea even if not required in your area due to it taking strain off of your tow vehicles brakes. I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR due to it being very easy to install.
Lastly to get the tow bar within 3" of level to your tow vehicle you will need a high-low adapter so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over measuring for the correct adapter, and a link to our selection of adapters for you to look through.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
