Will Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller Fit 2018 Ram 2500 with OEM Brake Controller

Question:
I have been having problems with brake controller that came on my 2018 dodge ram. I would like to have a alternate in case the stock controller goes out on the road. I was looking at the curt bluetooth controller. Will it work with the on the 2018 2500 Dodge Ram. Would I have to disconnect the stock controller?

Yes you can use the Curt Mobile Echo part # C51180 will work great on your 2018 Ram 2500 that has an OEM controller. If this was installed it would take over the brake output circuit and would not require any additional steps. This would be a really simple and easy solution for a backup brake controller as it would just plug right into your 7-way and once synced to your smart phone is ready to tow with.
