I need to replace my 1000/10000 lb hitch head. I would like to know if I can step up to the Eq90-02-1200 and everything still wok.

If you move up to the 1,200LB Equal-i-zer Hitch Head # EQ90-02-1200 you will need to use the larger 1,200lb weight distribution Spring Bars # EQ90-01-1299 with the hitch as they use larger spring bars.
To use your current spring bars you will need the 1,000LB Equal-i-zer Hitch Head # EQ90-02-1000.
