Compatibility of TVRVR5 Trailer Valet Trailer Dolly With 3500 lb Airstream Travel Trailer

Question:

Good Morning, I am new to towing/RV ownership, and am getting a new Airstream RV that has a break controller. If I were to get the TVRVR5, would I need something else for the break controller? I was also looking at the TRAX trailer dolly, but that is much heavier, and they make a big deal of tying into the trailer connector for a reverse lockout. Any info would help, Thanks

A brake controller is used while towing a trailer, not while you're jockeying it around into a parking spot or grarage.

Newer Airstream travel trailers would be equipped with electric brakes, so you wouldn't have a surge brake coupler and a reverse lockout to worry about. The Trailer Valet # TVRVR5 remote controlled trailer dolly would be an excellent choice for shuffling your Airstream around in a tight area. The dolly can handle trailers weighing up to 5500 lbs with tongue weights up to 550 lbs, so it'll be able to move the travel trailer you described without problem.

If you click the provided link, you can see a video of my buddy Randy demonstrating how well the # TVRVR5 trailer dolly works and how easy it is to use.
