What Width Wheels with 225/75-15 Tires fit On

I bought a trailer tire/rim 250 70r 15... Will a 225 75r 15 tire fit on the rim?

Are you sure about that existing tire size? I don't show 250/70-15 as being a valid trailer or passenger vehicle tire size.
In any event, a 225/75-15 tire such as the # AM10256 you'd looked at will fit great on a 15 inch wheel that's 5, 6, 6-1/2 or 7 inches wide, measured on the inside of the wheel from bead seat to bead seat (see provided photo). You'll need to remove the tire from the wheel in order to get an accurate measurement.
