Will this work with my 2006 Jayco Jayflight 28fks awning. It’s a Carefree patio awning. I don’t have the 2 1/2 feet space between the door and awning.

The Solera 18V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit - Universal - 69" Arms - Black # LC434729 that you were looking at will only fit your Carefree awning if you have at least 2-1/2 inches (not feet) between the awning rail and top of door, and also 69" of unobstructed area from awning rail straight down.
This kit is for 18V, but if you need 12V then go with Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit - Universal - 69" Arms - Black # LC434723.
