Trunk Mount Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2017 Jeep Renegade

Do you have a bike rack for the 2017 Jeep Renegade?

There are a few trunk mount bike rack options available for the 2017 Jeep Renegade. The only traditional style trunk mount bike rack is the Yakima HangOut bike rack, # Y02637 for 2 bikes or # Y02638 for 3 bikes. This bike rack uses 6 nylon straps that hook to the top, side and bottom edges of the rear hatch.

I've attached a demonstration video on a Renegade for you to check out.

If the thought of having a bike rack hooking to your rear door doesn't sound appealing, you may want to check out the SeaSucker Hornet, # 298-BH1302. This bike rack uses vacuum cups on the rear hatch glass and holds 1 bike. Each vacuum cup has 120 lbs of pull strength, so you don't have to worry about it ever coming off. I've attached a demonstration video of this bike rack as well.

Your only other options would be to install a trailer hitch or roof rack, which will drive up the cost. If you are interested in seeing those options, just let me know.
