Question:
I have a 2007 jayco flight 29bhs, and Im pulling it with a 2016 f 150. Would the c17062 work for my travel trailer/truck combination, Ive seen specs saying it has 765lbs of tounge weight

Expert Reply:
The Jayco Jay Flight 29BHS has a dry tongue weight rating of 715 lbs. Therefore, the system will need to have a capacity around 800 lbs to account for the trailer while loaded. I recommend the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System part # C17500 which has integrated sway control as well as an included pre-torqued hitch ball. If you're looking for a more cost effective option without sway control then the Curt MV Weight Distribution System part # C17062 will work.
The main difference between these two is that the integrated sway control does not require any additional setup nor does it require drilling into the frame. There will also be no need to set the chain tension each time.
