How Steep of a Driveway can the Trailer Valet TVRVR5 Handle With a 3,500 Pound Trailer?
Updated 08/18/2021 | Published 08/17/2021 >
Question:
I keep the boat and trailer in my garage, very tight fit and not enough length of driveway to maneuver with tow vehicle. Unusual driveway slopes down toward the garage starting at 11, flattening out in front of garage door. Front trailer wheels on tandem trailer will be on 5 slope when I disconnect from tow vehicle and connect the dolly. Will your dolly work for this? Driveway is in new condition with broom finish.

The Trailer Valet RVR5 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly - Wireless Remote # TVRVR5 will have a 5,500 pound weight capacity, with a 550 tongue weight capacity, so it will definitely handle your boat and trailer. However, the # TVRVR5 can only operate with inclines on 5 degrees. As long as you make sure to disconnect at the shallower angled part of your driveway, you will be good to go.
The included remote control that comes with the # TVRVR5 also makes maneuvering the trailer significantly easier. I included a review video we have of this for you to check out as well.
