Would you tell me the thread size of round metal post. Also there are three wires, what would I hook them up to? Thanks

The thread diameter of the mounting post on the Dual-Face LED Optronics Light # STL53ARPB is 1/2 inch. I spoke to my contact at Optronics to confirm this.
The white wire is the ground wire, the black wire will be the tail light circuit and the red wire will be the stop/turn circuit.
