Correct Spare Wheel/Tire for PWC Trailer with 185/80-13 or 175/80-13 Tires

Updated 08/10/2021 | Published 08/08/2021

Question:

I am looking for a spare tire for my PWC trailer. But the manual says that my wheel size is ST175/80D13 5H and the tire size is ST185/80D13C. Im confused how one can be a ST175 and the other can be a ST185. Is this normal? I also dont understand what the 5H indicates on the wheel size. Looking to find a tire mounted to the hub for a spare tire. It looks like the combos are either ST175 or ST185. Which should I buy?

I recommend going with the the same size spare as what's used on the trailer currently. We have options for both 175/80-13 and 185/80-13. I recommend going with the Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM3S160 or Loadstar ST185/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM3S334.

I am not quite sure why the manual list 185/80-13 for the wheel and 175/80-13 for the tire to be honest but so long as you go with the size currently on the trailer there will be no issues.
