Question:
Hi, I am thinking about getting the Thule Easyfold XT 2 bike carrier and I want to make sure I get the correct hitch receiver for it. According to your website, the following receiver fits my Ford CMax 2015: EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2 Item # 306-X7200 The Thule fit instructions on the thule.com website has a picture showing hitch receiver compatibility that says there needs to be a minimum of 1.5 inches from the side hold to the front of the receiver. Ive attached a picture. Is the EcoHitch compatible? Also, if you have experience with the Specialized Turbo Como 4.0 low entry bike I have the large size with the Thule Easyfold XT 2, please let me know if you think it is compatible. Thank you

Expert Reply:
The EcoHitch # 306-X7200 fits your 2016 Ford C-Max and will work with the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202. I personally verified the measurement and it was well over 2".
From my research your bike is approximately 48 pounds, and the EasyFold XT supports up to 65 pound bikes.
