Question:

what is the difference between the 7VP and the 9VP seal kits. which would work for my 3 inch valves? are they interchangable. I dont know which to get

For a 3 inch waste valve, you'd want to use the Valterra # T1003-7VP kit. The # T1002-7VP kit is for 2 inch valves, and wouldn't work with your 3 inch valve.

Mike, Your answer to the question, "What's the difference between the Valterra T1003-7VP and the T1003-9VP Replacement RV Waste Valve Seal/Hardware Kits" does not seem to address the correct question. There's no mention about the 2" seal. The parts listed are both 3" seals, but we're not sure wish is best to put in a Valterra T1003PBC 3" Valve Body. Thanks for your time. Chris

@ChrisS According to Valterra, the # T1002-7VP Replaces seals and hardware for 2" Valterra old style waste valves. The # T1003-7VP Replaces seals and hardware for 3" Valterra old style waste valves.
