Question:
My Columbus 295RL 5th wheel trailer is equipped with a Reese SW16 from 2012. The friction plate is dry and showing minor wear pic attached. I do not have a manual or maintenance info. It would be appreciated if you could please tell me how to lubricate it and with what.

The installation instructions for the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin # RP34FR say that at least once a season you should lubricate the wedge screw and the pivot shaft with white lithium grease, like the LubriMatic White Lithium Grease - 14 oz. Cartridge item # L11354.
I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
