How To Fix Trailer Lights Hyper-Flashing

Question:

I have a 2008 Range Rover Sport HSE that is equipped with incadecent bulbs and my new boat trailer has LED bulbs. Will the Putco P230004A Bulb Load-Resistor Kit-Aluminum kits stop LED trailer lights from hyper/spastic flashing? And if so will I need just ONE1 resistor for each side of the trailer? THANKS

It's not common for hyper-flash to occur on a trailer but this comes down to which trailer wiring harness is installed on the tow vehicle. If you are tied into the vehicles tail light circuits as opposed to a tow package port then hyper-flash is possible on the trailer. In order to fix this you can indeed use a set of resistors, the LED Light Bulb Load-Resistor Kit part # DI34ZR.
