Does Computer Have to be Flashed on 2018 Jeep Wrangler w/ Tow Package to Use Curt Echo

Question:

I have a 208 Jeep wrangler sport JL, it has the factory installed tow package but does not have the plug and play adaptor under the driver side dash for a brake controller. I have been told not only do I have to install the brake controller, but i also have to have the jeep flashed so it works properly. With the curt echo wireless would I still need to have jeep flashed ? Thanks

The computer will not have to be flashed on your 2018 Jeep Wrangler in order to use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180.

Since your Jeep already has the 7-way and is ready to go, you'll just need to plug in the Echo, set it up with the app and you're set! I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
