Roof Rack For 2017 Ford Escape With Bare Roof to Carry 2 Thule Hullavators

Question:

We need to mount two Hullavators on one bar to hold two Kayaks. How long of a bar would be needed? The Kayaks are 25inch wide at the widest point. They would be mounted on a 2017 Ford Escape with a bare roof or a 2014 Chey Silverado with a ARE topper. We would also need the rack to hold them with keyed lock if possible.
