Can The Replacement Lippert Power Gear Leveling Control Kit 6-Pin Wiring Harness Be Disregarded

can i use just the 8 pin flat connector to control the jacks without the use of the 6 pin harness

According to Lippert, all of the parts in the kit should be used. There are, however, some wiring changes that have been made at the pump assembly for the system to operate. The 6-pin wiring harness that you are referencing plugs into the back of the new control pad.

I have included pictures showing the wiring changes that need to be made as well as the back of the old and new control panels where you can see that they all use the 6-pin wiring harness.
