Question:

Not suitable for RV Four Wings Hurricane 2003 on F450 Super Duty Ford F53 chassis. I have 38 feet between the uprights and your device has 32 34. What do you advise? Return?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15845 you were looking at is designed to fit the 2003 Ford F-350/450/550 Cab and Chassis motorhomes, and will not work on your 2003 Thor Four Winds Hurricane built on the Ford F53 chassis. The F53 and F350/450/550 chassis are very different.

For a trailer hitch receiver for your motorhome you will need to go with the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 18" to 51" Wide # C13702 which fits frames between 18-51" wide. This will work on c-channel and box frames and gets bolted on, though it may require drilling holes in the correct location for the hitch to bolt to.

At this time there is not a custom fit trailer hitch receiver for your motorhome built on the F53 chassis.
