I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98846 for your 2018 Nissan Rogue. This receiver is rated for 525lbs of tongue weight and 3,500lbs of total trailer weight. Be sure to verify your maximum towing capacity with your Nissan dealer.
The etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 will provide you will 2 ball mounts and a 2" or 1-7/8" ball. Either ball will fit the U-haul trailer you intend to haul but the ball mounts have different amounts of rise(1"or3") to allow you to best level the trailer.
For the trailer lighting I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM11143645. This will plug into you factory wiring so that you will not have too cut or splice any wires. It uses a powered converter that will pull power from your battery rather than adding additional strain on the factory wiring.
