Question:
What is the length of the round mount? Do you know if it is long enough to mount to a 3.5 inch steel I-beam and be able to clear it when connected or swiveled? The outside portion of the beam is 1.5

The length of the pipe itself (the round mount) is 2-1/4 inches for the Round, Pipe Mount Swivel Jack w/ Footplate - Weld On - Sidewind - 10" Travel - 3,000 lbs # TJP-5001S-B.
I can't tell you for certain though whether it is long enough to mount to a 3.5 inch steel I-beam and be able to clear it when connected or swiveled. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
