Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Cargo Smart Weld On Forge D Ring Tie Down Anchor as a 4,000 pound working load limit. This forge D ring will provide additional holding power when you're securing cargo to your walls or floor of your trailer or the bed of your truck. It's a heavy duty steel construction and it is a weld on installation. Quantity is for one. Now the anchor point diameter's going to be a half an inch. Horizontal inside dimension of this ring is going to be right at 2-3/8 inches and the vertical inside dimension is going to be right at 2-1/2 inches.
Safe working load limit is 4,000 pounds. Maximum load or breaking strength is 12,000 pounds.One note I do want to mention is on tie down anchors they must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. For example, if you're using anchors with a working limit of 100 pounds each to tie down a load weighing 400 pounds then you need at least four anchors to safely secure that load.
