The only difference between the two Malone Airflow 2 Roof Rack is the length of the crossbars. One rack has 50" crossbars, part # MPG215, the other, part # MPG216, has 58" crossbars. Both of these racks will fit your 2020 Subaru Forester. You just have to decide what length crossbars you prefer. This happens all the time with roof racks, because most of the time you can go one size up in crossbar length. The reasons you might size up depend on what you want to carry. In the past, I never recommended the shortest crossbars. The most popular crossbar length is always the length just above the shortest crossbar. That means it fits more vehicles. So if you get a new vehicle, you have a better chance of not having to replace your crossbars if your bars are the most popular length. You can always size down in crossbar length, but you can never size up in crossbar length. If your old car had a 50" crossbar but your new car needs a 58" crossbar, you are buying a new crossbar.

Your 2020 Subaru Forester has raised rails. The nice thing about raised rails is you have the flexibility to put your crossbars and towers where you want on the raised rails. The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Titan Glossy, part # TH629707, will fit your vehicle provided there is 47-1/2" from the front crossbar to the line where the roof and the hatch meet on your 2020 Subaru Forester. If you set up your crossbars at the most forward position on your raised rails, this will not be a problem. I have included a product description and a video review link below.
