Would your Rhino Rack be suitable for our 17foot canoe? Also, if so, would it fit on a Yakima round tube roof rack? Thanks

Yes, the Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # RR570 will work well with hauling your 17-foot fiberglass canoe. The great thing about the Nautic Roof Carrier is that it comes with 2 tie-down straps with padded buckles and 1 set of bow/stern ropes for securing your canoe to your 2014 Honda Accord. The installation of the carrier involves a simple clamp-on process. Also, the Nautic Roof Carrier will fit your crossbar system with Yakima round bars.
With that being said, I strongly recommend that you consult online or go to your local city hall in order to make sure that you are not violating any traffic laws by transporting a 17-ft. canoe on your vehicle. With that length, there is bound to be some overhang from the front and rear. Local law enforcement will be able to provide additional tips for you to make sure you are transporting the canoe legally.
