Recommended LED Tail Lights To Replace Bargman SAE-AILRST-94 Tail Light

Updated 11/03/2024 | Published 07/13/2021

Question:

Im a DIY and am looking to replace the original Bargman sae-ailrst-94 with a 47-84-530. The bracket locks on the original lamp cover have cracked and replacing with LED lights is a good idea.Ive seen photos of surface-mounted lights, but no reference number for the actually surface mount. In your description, you say youll need to order the surface mount, but I cannot find them online. Please advise

I have another option for you, but the Bargman LED Triple Tail Light - 5 Function - 36 Diodes - White Base - Red and Clear Lens # 47-84-530 you were looking at can only be recessed mounted. This light requires a 12-11/16" x 5-1/2" cutout.

Now your Bargman SAE-AILRST-94 30-92-XXX is a single light that measures 8-9/16" wide x 4-9/16" tall x 2-1/8" thick. For a LED replacement option you will want to go with the LED Trailer Tail Light with License Bracket - Stop, Turn, Tail, License - Red Lens - Driver Side # 328-003-81LBM1 and Passenger Side # 328-003-81BM1 instead as they are 8-11/16" long x 3-7/8" tall x 2" deep which is the closest size available in an LED light, but it is also a surface mount light like your current lights.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.

When I type in part # 328-003-81BM1 in the etrailer web site the passenger side tail light doesn't come up? Only the 328-003-81LBM1 comes up on the website.

@BrettC I'm sorry to say that light was discontinued as well, just like the Bargman. The same is true for the driver side light but we still have it in stock. For another set of lights with similar dimensions check out the Optronics # RVSTLB61 and # RVSTLB60.
