Does Installing the Swagman Bike Cover for RVs Require Removal of the Bike Rack from RV
Updated 07/15/2021 | Published 07/13/2021 >
Question:
Must the cover be used ONLY with rack placed through hole in cover? If I have already attached the rack to my travel trailer, can I use the S24FR without removing the rack to extend it through the hole in the cover? My Swagman attaches to my RV bumper with a lock that is wrench tightened so its a bit of a bother to remove it to extend the rack through the cover.

Helpful Expert Reply:
You will want to install the Swagman Bike Cover for RVs # S24FR as directed by sliding the shank through the cover, since this cover is designed to protect both the rack and the bikes during travel. There is not a work around that I'm aware of, nor are my contacts at Swagman.
