Question:
Ive purchased Curt trailer balls in the past and I threw it away due to not being able to tighten it. Nothing to grab on to....... No way to torque. What am I missing? Thanks,

The totally round base of the Curt hi-rise ball like part # C40032 does make it challenging to torque the nut of. There really isn't a great solution but a large set of channel locks or vice grips could work if you were trying to do it with the ball mounted in a trailer hitch. Or if you have access to a vice on a work bench that would be the best to secure it.
