Im looking for a horizontal aux fuel tank, 40 gal or more that is 12 in or less tall.

I took a look at what we have, and the closest I was able to get to what you need is the DeeZee Truck Bed Auxiliary Tank # DZ91752X.
This fuel tank measures 19" tall, 9" wide, 59 1/2" long, and has a recommended max fuel capacity of 39 gallons.
