How To Install Pollak 7-way Trailer Connector PK12706 On Trailer Where Colors Do Not Match

Question:

All 6 of my wires came out, putting them back in the connector has a place for blue but there is no blue wire for electronic brakes. Does the yellow wire go in that place?

The yellow wire you mentioned should be for the reverse lights and it which case it would need to get installed in the middle pin.

Now the color of the wires is not standardized between trailer and vehicle manufacturers so you will need to reinstall the wires in the same location as they came out of the other connector.

If you already have the connector apart and do not remember where they were installed in the other connector then you will need to use a 12v battery to power each wire and confirm its function and the install it into the Pollak 7-way Connector # PK12706 you have following the included diagram.
