I have another option for you, but the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75101 you were looking at is only confirmed to fit select Dodge Ram Pickup trucks and will not fit your 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Van.

Instead I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75140 which is confirmed to fit your Ram 1500 Van and has the same 500lb tongue weight rating and 5000lb trailer weight rating as the # 75101.

This hitch would be perfect for carrying a bike rack, cargo carrier, or ball mount for towing a trailer.

If you are planning on towing a trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 18252 if your van does not have a factory trailer connector, and a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
