So I purchased the trailer hitch for a 1985 custom 4x4 1/2 ton Dodge power ram 150 it bolted up just fine only had to drill two holes the hardware that came with it was correct I'm enjoying my trailer hitch on my old pickup I can pull my boat and camper now thank you very much well worth the money
Quality hitch. Used a floorjack to lift the hitch inplace. Tighten bolts and nuts. Easy. Fast shipping
The fit was great! All of the needed hardware was there. It was taped to the hitch receiver and even though the box was in rough shape when we received the hitch, we were glad the hardware was taped to the hitch so it didn't fall out of the box.

You guy's knocked it out of the park on this one. Arrived in a beat up box due to the weight and shipping, not a problem (no damage and everything was there). I took a short glance at the instruction's ( simple and easy to understand). Grabbed my creeper and floor jack, socket, extension and ratchet. Installed bolts in frame, balanced the hitch on my floor jack and up it went. Bolt's lined up perfect. I'm 67 year's old and I did this by myself in about 15-20 minutes. Fast shipping, excellent quality, easy to install it just dose not get any better. Thank You!

fit perfect. looks good. and a good price. was able to buy a wiring "splitter" {brakes,signals and idle lights} at my local auto store. got it all installed. need to torque everything still. it was a satisfying installation, on my dodge ram from 95.
if i may recommend something, on your website to 'suggest' buying kits for wiring in trailer lights. kind of like how other websites uses the "buyers also get this" right under the product

That would be a super convenient feature to have! The trouble is, this particular hitch fits many different model year Ram trucks, but the wiring harness can vary from model year to model year, or it can vary according to how the vehicle is equipped. This is why at the top of the home page for our website, we have a fitguide where you can input your vehicle year, make and model. As you work your way through, you can choose the correct parts for your vehicle depending on how its equipped.
Super easy to install. I did have my son thread the first nut on but after that it was a one man job.
The hitch went right on looks great and just right on. I would recommend you all to everyone. And as far as shipping I couldn't have a auto supply have got it to me as fast as you all did Thank you

This is working great
Great service! Was kept informed the entire time up until delivery. The products were as described and the installation of the hitch, wiring harness, and connector bracket was less than 1 hour.
This is a great receiver for light weight duty. I bought it for my boat and it tows well.
It may be just certain models but as was stated previously - I did have to drill the 2 forward holes on my 2001 Ram 1500 short bed. It wasn't too much of a problem except on the passenger side where the muffler is in the way. Just unscrew the hanger and move out of the way. Drilled a 1/16 pilot hole then used my step drill to finish - added about 45 mins to the install. Other than that the receiver is perfect for what I needed.
Bought this to haul my dirt bike around on a motorcycle rack. Works great. No problems at all. Great service from etrailer as usual.

I like it works great was easy to mount it was the right fit I didnt need to drill solid and strong great receiver
My hitch came to my house in only a couple days. I wanted one that didn't require any drilling or moving the spare tire and this one worked perfectly. I would highly recommend etrailer to anyone needing a hitch or accessories.
I rated this the way I did because the product description said "no drilling required". I found this WAS NOT the case with the hitch that I received. The four rear holes lined up with the holes in the frame of my truck, however, the 2 front holes did not and needed to be drilled. This was a big step that I was not prepared for with a cordless drill and dull drill bits...
Ok, I’m impressed. Someone said it was a 30 minute job. Wrong. Took me 15. Had one bolt not wanting to go in. One push with a small pry bar and everything dropped into place. Torqued it up to specs, installed the ball and was done in less time than it takes to write this. Rarely impressed with manufacturers claims but this one is spot on. No drill, no trouble, no problem. Thanks for a good product.
The product fit perfectly and looks good, the only problem was that on my 1998 Dodge 1500 Sport 6 1/2 foot bed that the hole for mounting on the frame toward the front of the vehicle had to be drilled and on the passenger side the exhaust was in the way and had to buy a $20 extended drill bit to drill the hole in the frame. Other than that everything went fine.
Thank you Carol C, I did recieve my hitch this afternoon. I am 70 years old, and have COPD, with oxygen 24/7. The hitch fit perfectly on my 96 Dodge Ram 1500. I installed the hitch by myself in 35 minutes. I am grateful for your superb service. Than you, Terry Watson.

Excellent product, fit was good, works good, only thing is receiver is a bit too far under rear bumper.
Package arrived fast with Great Communications regarding order processing and Shipping details. Installation took about 30 minutes and I did it by myself on the garage floor. Fit perfect on my 1999 Dodge RAM1500.
