Converting a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 To Haul a 5th Wheel Trailer With a Reese Goose Box

I would like to use a Reese 20 K Goosebox hitch for my 5th wheel travel trailer. I have a 2006 Chevy Classic 2500 HD 4x4 pickup. I believe I will also need to purchase an adapter that attaches under the bed between the frame of my pickup to support the turnover ball. I assume you sell the adapter as well as the Goosebox, can you tell me what the parts would be and what the adapter is called so I can order them. Thanks

For your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 you will need the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1067. This will give you a gooseneck hitch ball that can easily be stored in the hitch and still provides a clean bed for every day use. If you have a short bed truck the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball # BWGNXA4085 will provide you will a little extra turning clearance when you need to maneuver the your camper in tight areas.
If you do not already have an in bed 7-way connection the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157 will allow you to tee your factory 7-way and have an additional plug in the truck bed. This will reduce the chances of wiring damage when running the connector into the bumper connection.
The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR is a 20,000lb unit that replaces the 1621 or 0719 pin box found on most 5th wheels. If you are unsure or have a different pin box please let me know and I will guide you on how to find your pin box. I have also linked an article below that covers the steps for identifying your pin box. As you are changing to a ball type connection you will need a Reese Safety Chain Kit # RP49151 to attach to the Goose Box. Safety chains are required for all ball connections.
