Question:

Will a hull-a-port 815 thule kayak carrier mount on a Thule TracRac? If not, can you suggest a jbar, etc, that will mount to this diameter to carry kayaks on this diameter rack? The rack I want to mount to is a Thule TracRac TracONE ladder rack. The kayaks shown are pretty jammed together and I’m looking for something to mount on rack and carry kayaks at an angle.

The crossbars on the Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Silver, part # TH27000XT-EX, are designed to work with any of the Thule Accessories that are channel mounted.

If you prefer to carry your kayaks at an angle, you need a j-cradle rack. The Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs - J-Style - Fixed - Side Loading, part # TH834, will fit your TracONE ladder rack. You will also need the Thule Xadapt3 Xsporter Load Bar Adapter for the Hullaport, part # THXADAPT3, to attach the Thule Hull-A-Port to the channels of your TracONE ladder rack.
