I have a 2012 ram Laramie Longhorn Diesel with ramboxes. Can I get a 5th wheel hitch for this truck?

Yes, you can install a 5th wheel hitch in a 2012 Ram 2500 with a 6-1/2 Foot Bed and Ram Boxes. However, you can't use a slide type hitch that is typically used in short bed trucks. You will need to use a fixed position hitch, such as the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # BWRVK3200 or # BWRVK3255, using the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches, # BWRVK2600 to mount in truck bed Then have a rotating turret type pin box on your 5th wheel, such as the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret, # RP34FR.
To identify the correct Sidewinder or type rotating pin box that will work for your set-up, you will need to know the manufacturer and model number of the pin box on fifth wheel you intend to haul and match that with the correct replacement. For example, Sidewinder # RP34FR will replace Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD, as well as Fabex PB 600 Series (68200) pin boxes. If you let me know the manufacturer and model number of your pin box I can find the correct Sidewinder for you.
