Question:
Can this also be used to lock the balls to the C45900 mount?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ballmount # C45900 requires a span of 3-1/4" for a lock. The BOLT Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Codes to Toyota Key # BL7023584 will not fit the Curt ballmount.
I recommend the Curt Lock Set for Adjustable Channel-Style Mounts # C23556 instead. This lock is designed for the # C45900 and the use of these pins retains the full capacity of the ball mounts.
I have attached a review video of the Curt lock set for your reference.
