Question:
I have an older camper with 3inch axles how can I tell if this kit will work

Expert Reply:
Since you older camper has 3" axles the Dexter Over-Under Kit # K71-385-00 you were looking at will fit perfectly as it is designed for 3" diameter axles.
The only thing you will need to check is that the leaf springs are currently below the axle.
This kit includes everything you need to move the axle underneath the leaf springs which will lift the trailer by the diameter of the axle (3") plus the height of the spring stack. You will need to have a qualified welder weld the included spring seats on the axle.
Now this is kit includes components for one axle, so if you have multiple axles you will need one for each axle.
I included a video of the # K71-385-00 for you to take a look at.
