Does installation of the front hitch for Warn multi mount winch require permanent removal of skid plates?

If you'll look at the provided customer review by Mike H, you'll see that he was easily able to reinstall skid plate after the Curt # 31313 Front Mounted Receiver was installed on his 2008 Toyota Tacoma. No modifications were needed.
